How would I sell ICE to Eskimos!

Image
Last week in our team we were talking about impossibilities in a project and someone mentioned about selling Ice to Eskimos.. That kept me thinking how I would sell ICE to Eskimos. I must warn you, I am terrible in selling/marketing things. If my idea aligns with yours, it’s purely we think alike. Here goes my sales pitch   PC: Google Images ‘Perfumed ICE- for refreshing Homes’ You can use perfumed ice to smell the freshness in the room all the time.. All new, from the makers of the world famous ‘Sand Ball for Sahara’ brand, now to get rid of that odour from your Igloo. Make YOUR Igloo pleasant & even penguins wants to visit you. Perfumed Ice releases perfume every minute as it melts, Isn’t perfect!!! It comes in different perfumes to choose from -- Romance, Ocean breeze and Summer . Weekend with George - the Giraffe

Image
George – The Giraffe came home last weekend to spend some time with us.. Aaryan was so excited to have a guest of his own and acted like a perfect HOST. As my mom, I’m so impressed & proud of my little one.. Snapshot of their weekend goes like this.. It all started with Aaryan’s favourite Friday Movie night , Aaryan and George chose to watch Aladdin . George said he never watched a full movie ever , h e tend to doze off usually . B ut not this time. Aladdin kept them awake with his magic Mat and funny Genie.  PC: Google Images Saturday Morning started with a Cheese toast for both of them. Aaryan and George came up with a clever idea of having chair on top of a chair, so George can reach the table. Then Aaryan took George for a ride to Springvale Library to drop books. Later Aaryan took George to his Piano Class. He played a song for George. George was so impressed with Aaryan. George tried his hands on Piano too. Having a perfect aut

Planet Food

I LOVE FOOD!! Full stop. I am now officially in-charge of our weekly food discoveries. I named this post ‘Planet Food’ – inspired by David Attenborough’s Planet Earth... Do you see where I’m coming from- the similarities- discovery channel/planet Earth/Food Discovery...? Ok, I accept... it doesn’t make sense now... Just read on... Planet Food it is.   PC: Google Images Melbourne never ceases to amuse me with its little alleys and best food places to try...  Just like music and Art – Food lovers are classified as well... The Ones who are more religious to the place/type of food they eat and they only prefer THE place and trying out new places occasionally... I can keep G in this category... He tries new places occasionally when I pulled/dragged him J (Not literally…Puff!!) Then the ones like me who explore funky places and any food with one mantra–FOOD in its different avatars... If there is good food in a faraway land- IM GOING THERE BABY! Then there is hig

Beauty and the Beast

Do you prefer white, yellow, Brown, or Black?? Any guess on what I am talking about!!! Yes, it’s our Skin Colour. Imagine the creator asked this question every time a baby is made in the baby factory...   Shhh!! That’s what A thinks after watching Strokes and Boss Baby... What’s with the colour? You are who you are and Colour is what you are born with. There is no exchange policy once you agreed to the terms and conditions. Wait, why am I talking about this now?!!! I was asked by my just-turned-5 yr.-old, why is he BROWN compared to his friends... At first I thought someone asked him about it... I realised later it’s his own observation. Just in my mind, I was thinking for a 5yr old, I’m sure he is only noticing the difference as in colour of the skin/hair/eye colour... I really don’t think he is old enough to judge a person by Skin colour. It is a good time to explain him in a way he can understand and also making sure, he would never judge anyone by his or her skin colour.
