Wo(a)ndering thoughts!!!

A asks me "when will I grow up to be like dad?".. < Im thinking Grow up slow baby..>.. I respond You have long way to go.. He says  NO, RIGHT NOW.. That kept me thinking we always wanted to grow up quick and very curious  to see whats its like!! When in preschool, just cant wait to be in school and proud to wear that uniform like big sis/brothers. When in school, just cant wait to be in middle school and go on excursions.. When in middle school, just cant wait to be in high school and have a GF/BF (seriously!!!!!) When in High school, just cant wait to be get in to college and be independent. When in college, just cant wait to be in  REAL WORLD working.. When in real world working and settled (either with a family or not).... going back seeing school pics or talking to your old friends and you will always want to go back to those days.. This is so true, few days back one of my college friend's bday..thanks to tech...

Just me being curious ..for all those retailers out there,what's this obsession of getting customers to sign up for membership... really!! I don't know how much it helps you(I bet a LOT) but as a customer  I hate to carry card for every single retailer I shop. sometimes I go to that retailer Z only once a year or just ONCE in my lifetime . Why would I want to carry a card which I hardly use and spam my email!!!! To top it off they say I accumulate points and use them later!!! Am I the only one who feels this way!!! I'm going to go to this Z only when really need their service .. Say for example this Z could be a Hiking gear retailer who I visited recently,  told me that the specials specified on the items are only for members and it made a huge difference on their price. Two items for 30$ if you are a member otherwise it cost 39$ each.. So in my lifetime I might go to that shop maximum twice as I'm not a h...

That mystery question I get all the time (more often than before) now that I'm settled back home , all the boxes are unpacked ,house is set right, My kiddo in day care all day, more importantly I'm jobless.. it does sounds like I'm totally free right .. Actually even I don't know what I do all day but my day seems busy..before I know its time to pick A from day care. I wouldn't brag about the house work. But all I can say is my day is busy.. Yes people I'm the proud owner of the brand BUSY DOING NOTHING .  

Made it home for Christmas ,finally after almost 3 yrs. Nothing changed..,the roads, traffic (well, I wouldn't call this traffic after being in Asia) , my street and the usual shops I go to..nothing at all.. It almost feels as if last 3yrs was a nice dream.. Reality kicks now, after few sessions of cleaning the house(literally) not satisfied with the results and waiting to get some expert in action..Soon house will be like how it was 3yrs back (hopefully...) .. Surprisingly I don't miss Korea as expected( well, expect for my house keeping service and breakfast buffet) , I'm taking the move very well(like always).. and A loves his space now and just couldn't stop taking his toys for a ride around the house. He cant wait for his Korean toys(Pororo, tayo etc.,) to be delivered soon,so he can show around his new home. Best part is driving my car after soo long without a fuss. hmm..except that A just wants his WIZ songs played  again and again in the car.I think I h...

Previously I posted something about me being so un-artistic, I don't remember trying any kind of ART.. Recently I had a chance to try/create HANJI (Korean) Souvenirs, Hanji sounds more like a dish right (Koonji -Porridge in Korean, Chinese, Tamil)  maybe that's what attracted me.. Haha.. Jokes apart, Hanji is a Korean hand made paper and the things we can do with it amazing.. The paper itself is very delicate, it comes in different natural colors which is then used to form beautiful paintings to Souvenirs. Hanji art itself is of two kinds-First one is in some form of drawing/painting and another one  in 3D form anything  from LAMP to dolls.. Traditional Korean painting which is done without colors or color paper..its just white paper and black ink(kind of..to my knowledge) and it mainly concentrate on baboo trees, Crane ,flowers or mountains, Korean calligraphy etc., I have tried calligraphy at Hongbeopsa temple , they organize Korean culture learning ...

For a while now, Aaryan is so much in to cooking with mama.. If I stand anywhere in kitchen he comes straight with a chair to watch/help me. I must admit I'm not in to trying new stuff in kitchen. I'm kind of person who just goes to Kitchen when I'm hungry and my cooking is always fast. I could spend maybe 30min to 1hr in a day. Whatever can be cooked fast and tasty ,that's all it matters. This week, he is been helping me wash my veggies, soak/wash rice for Idly(Steamed rice cake) batter, Marinate veggies for stir fry and he even helped me make roti dough. I don't know how long this sudden interests of his will last, but I thought I will write it down for later (or even show him to keep doing it..)   Helping me stir the Mushroom with Soysauce  & other spices   Helping me wash the rice and lentil for Idly batter     This one is the classic Roti master!!!  

Its another move, but this time we are so much more excited as we are moving back to our HOME.. Staying in a hotel sounds like fairytale( actually it is , I will miss all this lazy/don't have to clean the apt days) , but sometimes we need our things..I'm in that point where I just need more space to move around. I think its time for us to move back HOME.. Lot of stressful moments awaiting for us, moving is not a joke.. When I think about it now, it gives me biggg sigh.. I cant wait to move back home, settle down and drink my tea sitting on my lounge.. that what I call HEAVEN (well, for now... ) So much more stories to come about our another big move.. wait for it..
