Finally home sweet home..
Made it home for Christmas ,finally after almost 3 yrs. Nothing changed..,the roads, traffic (well, I wouldn't call this traffic after being in Asia) , my street and the usual shops I go to..nothing at all.. It almost feels as if last 3yrs was a nice dream.. Reality kicks now, after few sessions of cleaning the house(literally) not satisfied with the results and waiting to get some expert in action..Soon house will be like how it was 3yrs back (hopefully...) ..
Surprisingly I don't miss Korea as expected( well, expect for my house keeping service and breakfast buffet) , I'm taking the move very well(like always).. and A loves his space now and just couldn't stop taking his toys for a ride around the house. He cant wait for his Korean toys(Pororo, tayo etc.,) to be delivered soon,so he can show around his new home.
Best part is driving my car after soo long without a fuss. hmm..except that A just wants his WIZ songs played again and again in the car.I think I heard his bear song and butterfly song 10000th time in last 10 days.. I think he miss his school and his Korean pals. Hopefully he will get used to his new childcare/Kinder once he starts in FEB.
Unpacking the boxes from storage(which was packed 3yrs back) was my "Alice in wonderland" time. I couldn't remember most of the stuff I had except for big ones like fridge,comforters etc.,. It feels so good to open each box and surprise myself with whats in it..I was worried about this whole unpacking and settling down phase, but it turned out more interesting than I thought.
Well, story doesn't complete without writing about my garden.. to my surprise , all plants survived and welcomed us with a glowing summer dance.. and we were so happy to see flowers flowers everywhere around our home. A loves to play in the garden and help me dry cloths in the garden.
