Rain-Kissed!!

I'm sure I'm not last in the game, I've finally joined the Netflix club and binge watching like anything..I finished 2 seasons of my fav show in no time.. I have to wait until 2019 for next season.. it is RIDICULOUS!!.. One thing I was afraid that would happen, actually happened..

I'm A-D-D-I-C-T-E-D!!  I hate that I love it.. There I said it..

Although I miss my reading and blogging... I couldn't believe I was into so much binge-ing, 3 weeks have gone without doing anything other than the bare necessities. .I skipped my morning walk to watch few more minutes of the movie I downloaded, I skipped reading to finish that episode of The Crown, I even had to pay late fees for not returning my library books.. Can you believe that!!! thats SO not me.. Aah Hah!!!

It feels so blank , my mind is not even working.. G would agree that its the perfect solution to put my wondering mind into coma..

Today, I woke up with the sound of rain..what more can inspire to write than a rain..

I've heard about that perfect sun kissed skin,
I woke up with a perfect rain kissed morning,
Million kisses showering the earth,
We could hear all million at once..
Is it why romance and rain go together?

It is the festival of Cupid-the love god,
this would warrant you to be with the loved one,
I wonder, thunder and lightning are doing the sounds and lights,
It feels like celebration of love

  I used to think a kiss can make one pregnant,
 Now I see it is true !! when it stops showering, 
its a new beginning to many..

Rule of thumb for a blind date is to trust the process and to go on a date with no/zero expectation. You do not know who you are meeting until you see them. My dear pre-teen,  Part of me wants you to stay young and innocent, but life gets to us all and you grow, and I have to grow as well. First, I want to thank you for putting up with me and my parental demands. You take me by surprise every single day with your patience, focus, attitude, and how you face challenges that are thrown at you. I’m so grateful to watch you grow the way you are growing with kindness, satirical sarcasm, to-the-point-arguments, your excitement to be involved in every adult conversation, and your logical and strategic thinking- you are the best ‘IDEA’ man I know in this world. Thanks for teaching me how to reach for the moon and stars.  This is going to be a big year where you are going to face your first breakups and first ‘goodbyes’ to the wonderful community of friends you grew up with. Often, I have a casual conversation with A and get surprised by some of his responses which I find very profound. I don't know whether he understands the meaning of it or it's the way children brain work - stick to rudimentary thinking, we adults complicate everything unnecessarily. I have recorded so many of our conversations in my other related posts, but this one deserves a post on its own. Little things matter  be it a gesture of care or love, last night I was down (blame the hormones!!) and was lying next to Aaryan who was busy watching TV. I turned around and asked him whether he would love me forever, he asked me “ What do you want me to say amma! ”. He was genuine when he asked me what I wanted to hear so I would feel better. He knew it was a silly question that I asked, but his presence of mind to check with me when I was feeling low was true blessing.
