Everything I wanna be

Abdul Kalam said "You have to dream before your dreams can come true!!" .. 

lil A took this quote too far and started to dream so much so, he is exploring and considering his options.The endless possibilities means he can keep changing his profession. Who knows he would become a multi-verse professional.




One day he wants to work at McDonalds for free nuggets, next he is thinking of becoming a chef because he cooks his 2 min noodles in perfect spice(provided).

One day he decides to become wedding photographer after comparing the picture he took with his Dad's  (who needs a basics in photography crash course), next he wants to be an assistant to David Attenborough.

One day he is a cricketer , next he is a tennis player , then he will become an Olympic athlete (he has a  strategy for 100m running).

One day he is a billionaire , he promised to  buy me a country house and next day he has no plans to move out of our lil unit forever.

One day he wants to be a scientist , next he wants to be a palaeontologist.

One day he wants to run a business , next he wants to be mathematician.

One day he wants to be a president or prime minister, next day he wants relax on weekends so he decides to quit politics .

One day he could also buy cows and run a dairy farm in his grand dad's farm or he will just retire .

One day he wants to be a brickman , next he wants to become a video gamer (not sure about this!!).

One day he wants to be a Opera singer , there is no next for this. 

One thing he is sure of is he will become a father for atleast 2 kids , I know for sure he would be the most kindest compassionate dad ever just like his Ta.

Rule of thumb for a blind date is to trust the process and to go on a date with no/zero expectation. You do not know who you are meeting until you see them. You cannot check their FB profile or see their stories in Insta. You go there with open mind. If you are lucky, you get a wonderful experience and stories to tell your grand children. Mine was no different, I must say I was always lucky with my blind dates. I have had so many experience of this. However, it was not like I didn't have a choice. My dear pre-teen,  Part of me wants you to stay young and innocent, but life gets to us all and you grow, and I have to grow as well. First, I want to thank you for putting up with me and my parental demands. You take me by surprise every single day with your patience, focus, attitude, and how you face challenges that are thrown at you. I’m so grateful to watch you grow the way you are growing with kindness, satirical sarcasm, to-the-point-arguments, your excitement to be involved in every adult conversation, and your logical and strategic thinking- you are the best ‘IDEA’ man I know in this world. Thanks for teaching me how to reach for the moon and stars.  This is going to be a big year where you are going to face your first breakups and first ‘goodbyes’ to the wonderful community of friends you grew up with. Often, I have a casual conversation with A and get surprised by some of his responses which I find very profound. I don't know whether he understands the meaning of it or it's the way children brain work - stick to rudimentary thinking, we adults complicate everything unnecessarily. I have recorded so many of our conversations in my other related posts, but this one deserves a post on its own. Little things matter  be it a gesture of care or love, last night I was down (blame the hormones!!) and was lying next to Aaryan who was busy watching TV. I turned around and asked him whether he would love me forever, he asked me “ What do you want me to say amma! ”. He was genuine when he asked me what I wanted to hear so I would feel better. He knew it was a silly question that I asked, but his presence of mind to check with me when I was feeling low was true blessing.
