Shakthi - Hindu goddesses represents THE POWERFUL ONE... Shakthi aka WOMEN are beautiful, powerful and stronger than they think. If she can make a house of bricks in to a nice cosy home, then she is capable of making any place a better place mainly her own space. But the issue is not with the society, not with the opposite gender, not even with the fellow women. Problem is believing in herself. She doesn’t know how powerful and beautiful she is until someone tells her, she is intelligent but expects someone to appreciates her .. but  WHY  I question myself. I see this in many of us and keep telling myself ‘I’m beautiful/ smart/ intelligent no matter what others see or tell and I’m  stronger  and I can do whatever I aim for.. This is just another post of A's episode, Im writing this for myself to read it after a while to keep the moments alive. I feel A is growing so fast & I really miss his yesterdays everyday.. Its been crazy last few weeks with this Melbourne weather being HOT one day and cold next few days. Hay fever in its peak this time, I thought its just us suffering since its been more than 3yrs we lived here for Spring.. but news this week says this year emergency services got 6 times more calls for Astma related issues than last yr. DH and I have been suffering with itchy eyes & sneezing for days after we visit a park or walk anywhere close to grass. DH stopped playing his fav sport because it takes more than 2 days after the game to recover. A fell sick 10 days back with high temp after I took him to a park on a nice sunny day evening. Next morning, he started to complain about throat pain and immediately his temp shoot up . I would vouch for world toughest/stressful job is to convince A to take medicine. When he gets temperature, he usually prefers all other methods than to take medicine.. Drink plenty of water, take shower or even have a popsicle to reduce temp.. But as...

Fiji - It was long due planning I should say, few of my friends know what Im talking about.. Anyway, finally we've been to Fiji..it was such an amazing trip, much needed break from all the craziness happening around for past months.. I went without much expectation, to my surprise I didn't pack my bags until the last day (I'm usually well organised with my holidays) and didn't look for what to do/see in Fiji before going.. DH took full control this time & booked flights and stay..Honestly I didn't even know where we were staying until we landed..I was telling my family/friends I'm staying at Westin but DH booked it at Hilton :).. But its so worth it like this way once a while, just went with the flow and came back all rejuvenated.. Fiji is a tropical pacific Island and Denaru is an man made island close to Nadi airport.. Denaru is all about resorts and relaxation.. All the world brand resorts are here and everyone of them make sure you have a won...

I mentioned long before in one of my previous post about kids and patterns, how comfortable they are to identify the patterns/shapes they know.. A is good at it, he loves to identify car names with their logo. I assume it’s just kids at his age and they don’t complicate things. Recently he gets excited about writing/identifying alphabets and numbers. I don’t want him to learn this early, mainly because I don’t want him to get bored when the time comes in school. But he started writing on his own, first he started copying his name and slowly expanded to other letters he saw it in book/name board etc., and he started recognizing all the alphabets. Then he started with numbers 1 to 10 and now he can remember til 20. So other day he  was writing numbers and he quickly called me ‘ Mom!! Look if you write L in a opposite way it is 7 ’. I was really surprised he could recognize the pattern and he started doing the list of numbers which resembles somewhat like alphabets for examp...

How same situation or same tone of the voice is viewed differently depending on your mood, your interest, your knowledge   and the most important one- your take on the person who is delivering it. It could be a conversation or an argument or a statement or a discussion or even a situation.  Sometimes I will sit with my friends hearing the same conversation with someone... But my friends view might be completely different from mine and vice versa. Have you heard about empty box of nothingness? I 'm not talking about the empty cardboard boxes, these are memory boxes which sits on our brain to save those moments you are thinking about NOTHING... Well, it may not happen to women mostly coz we are planning 10 different things in our mind while actually doing 10 different things...  According to the research (Ahum!! Ahumm!!) empty box moments definitely happens for men... From what I understood, human memories are composed of small boxes and we choose to get in to any box when we are talking/thinking about them and for men they have an additional cache called Empty box and they enter that box when they are not thinking about anything.. What a bliss...  On the other hand for women brain/memories, all boxes are completely interconnected...its like a complicated switch box.  If you tell a Women A , we know how it ends up in Z.. We connect all the information/boxes we know and that’s why don’t mess with us....
