Killing more than once..

The news that’s really  bothering me last few days is about a girl who was murdered at a busy railway station in Chennai.

Swathi is just another IT girl in Chennai started her day without knowing how it’s going to end within hours. She was murdered in broad day light with at least 10 to 50 bystanders who are scared to even call the police. What had actually happened, no one knows until police finds the murderer. But the creative stories floating around in the media/people which is really disheartening.. Why are these people not talking much about the guy and his behavior … whatever the situation maybe, what right he has to kill a girl brutally? It’s just because he was upset... Oh Yea... Actually, that girl’s life is nothing compared to that man’s anger...That girl would've went through so much in her last moments.. that is not enough now, she had to put up with people's judgmental comments and moreover these people who wasn’t even there at the place/time. This is not the first time, it’s always the case. If girl/women was murdered or raped or a suicide victim for whatever the situation maybe, aftermath effect is her character assassination. What else a man kind can do to make her after-life better!!

The immediate family have to go through the loss/grief & hear/answer unknown people’s judgmental comments/views... It’s even more stressful for them leaving no time to mourn. When one of my close friend passed away due to some medical problem, people around started to criticize his wife for the death... How rude...his wife is  already going through a huge loss, she had to lead rest of her life with a kid alone ...to top off her situation, she’ll have to hear all the negative comments people make... What makes these people happy when they talk bad about the person without knowing the truth?

Few years back when the Delhi girl was gang raped and brutally killed.. People’s immediate response was what she was doing at night ,going out!!...Moreover It wasn’t even late night, it was just 8pm and how does this justify the situation!! ..Still people don’t talk much about those idiotic animals who did this to her.. It’s all about the girl in the end. These “people” who are criticizing are more likely another girl and women. Why!!! Why are you doing this!!!! I’m not talking feminism or any other -ism.. I’m just talking NORMAL-HUMAN-BEHAVIOR. It really upsets me when people do this to anyone let alone during one’s critical time.

For those people who knows everything about everyone life and have all the right to make judgments about other’s situation. Put yourself in that situation before you make any comments. Remember you are no different than the murderer –he killed the person once physically but you are killing his/her character every time.  No one wants to hear negative comments. So STOP spreading rumors and start living YOUR LIFE. More than the loss, it’s very depressing to hear people’s comments about his/her character.
